The Padres Came Back for More

And the White Sox showed up full force! Who says we only need to play each team one time? (Um... I think I might've said that once. Or twice.) These two teams were ready to go and the Sox, at least, had their usual Good Time.

My favorite part of this next one is L, looking like, "Who ARE these jokers, anyway? How exactly did I get mixed up in this?" Come to think of it, J looks like he might be feeling the same way. Perhaps it's just my own son wreaking havoc... and that guy on the ground, whoever he is. :)

And I know they aren't on the team, but anyone with ears knows that Miss F has had a hard time being nice to her little friends lately. I like that -- for a few minutes at least -- she went back to her loving "big sister" role.

And I also love the teamwork going on here...

A Game & A Birthday

Yesterday the White Sox hit the field for a great game against the A's. The kids played hard and engaged in the usual silliness on the side. Dr. K (the mister one) had likened us to the Bad News Bears a couple of weeks back, and there was definitely a little of that going on. These guys are all over the place and sometimes hard to manage, but they're always having fun (okay, almost always) and they're always precious (ahem... cough...). Even the siblings seemed to enjoy yesterday's action. And it was all topped off with pizza and CAKE, since Connor was celebrating The Big Five.

So Sorry

I was going to title this post "Biggest Loser," but I figured that -- no matter what the context -- those words just doesn't belong on a kids' t-ball site. So instead please just accept my apologies for not only lacking the energy and enthusiasm to even bring the camera along this week, but also for being The One That Didn't Bring The Pizza. Apparently, I didn't receive/process all of the communications with regard to changing schedules. I even smuggly checked my calendar last night, thinking, "I'm on pizza duty April 20. It wasn't ME who forgot the food and made all those little boys break down in hysterics." Huh. I guess it was.

Glad some of you other moms had cameras out to capture parts of the game that will live in infamy here in the Clausen household. (And lest you think I refer only to the lack of grub, please remember that I'm the one who allowed my child to become locked in the port-a-potty.) Let me know if you want me to post any of your shots to the blog. It's the least I can do.

Rollin' On

The White Sox showed up in full force today, ready to take on the Giants and have some fun. They were their usual mix of tough, adorable, hard-charging and goofy. Here's your look at the action... (And thanks to the Attalas for carrying on the "tradition" of post-game pizza and sugary goodness!)

So blogging is not really my thing. I was able to throw this little compilation of snapshots together and get it online, but I can't say that I have massive amounts of control over image sizes, resolution, layout, etc. I apologize profusely for the blog's deficiencies. Even so, I hope that it can function as a fun way to look back at White Sox games and entertaining moments. I'll do my best to get a representative sample of the kids whenever I shoot, but if you don't see your own child featured prominently in a post, just know that it's not all entirely under my control. The First Game!

The SLO T-Ball White Sox were off to a GREAT start today when they took on the Padres for their first game. They were ready, they were focused (pretty much), they were dog piling... Fun times! Thanks to the Marino family for the pizza and Twinkies afterward. Yum!
